Entrepreneur raises £200m to transform unused London subways

Ajit Chambers has managed to raise £200m for the ambitious project.

Ajit Chambers, a former JP Morgan executive has managed to raise £200m from investors as part of an ambitious project. The project has an aim to transform 26 unused London subway stations as well as bomb shelters into modern-day shops as well as tourist attractions.

Currently, the entrepreneur looks set to deliver on his aims as Chambers confirmed to Investoo that the Mayor of London has asked him to present a report directly to him on the project for further consideration.

Future updates as to the progression of the project are expected from the The Old London Underground Company in the near future.
