FTSE 100 at highest level since Lehman collapse, creeps past 6,100

The FTSE 100 reached its highest level since the Lehman collapse in 2008, creeping past the 6,100 mark to close at 6,101 on Thursday.

Arm Holdings was the biggest riser on Thursday, leading the index with a positive change of 4.4%.

The index closed Thursday up by 0.05%.
