A MegaFon IPO in London could raise the Russian mobile phone operator as much as $4bn for a twenty percent stake.
According to Reuters, sources have revealed that the company has sought permission from its local regulator to list shares on the London exchange in what would equate to one of the biggest IPOs in recent months.
Alisher Usmanov, the richest man in Russia owns MegaFon.
