A proposed London listing of Coca-Cola Hellenic would see the Coca-Cola bottler catapult straight into the FTSE 100. Sources at Sky News, say that the Greek-based bottler of Coca-Cola and related drinks such as Sprite is considering switching its listing from Athens to London.
However, it is currently not clear whether the company would be be completely void of its Athens listing if it went ahead.
The company in question produces over £5bn in sales through its global bottling operation, with just a small proportion of its revenues coming directly from Greece.
Sky sources claim that any announcement on the matter is likely to be ‘weeks away’.
