The Spanish economy performed worse than originally believed in both 2010 and 2011, according to new data from INE. Statistics show that the economy contracted by 0.3 percent and 0.4 percent during 2010 and 2011 respectively in the newly revised data.
It is expected that Spain will now find it even more difficult to prosper again and a sovereign bailout is edging ever closer.
