Chancellor George Osborne has told the BBC that the UK economy is ‘healing’ although it is taking time. Speaking to the Andrew Marr show, Osborne defended his work to date.
He added that the UK economy is creating jobs, but it is taking time, before noting that this is simply no ‘easy route to a magical recovery’.
Obsorne boosted the latter thought by indicating that more has to be done and that ‘we have to do it faster.
The chancellor has also confirmed that he plans to set up a ‘small business bank’, underpinned by the Government that aims to further inject life into the British economy.
