www.syif.co.ukSouth Yorkshire Investment Fund (SYIF) is a £50m fund that provides risk capital at attractive rates from £15,000 to £2.5million. The Fund works with other investors to create financial packages to make deals happen – deals that would not otherwise see the light of day.
Target markets range from high-technology university spin-outs to inward investors in all sectors from IT and engineering to tourism and food production. Each of the businesses that are supported by the Fund are allocated a mentor with a grant to support mentor fees. The mentor’s role is to provide an objective sounding board for the business. |
