Entrust also manages the North East Equity Matching Fund, an Early Growth Equity Fund established with the objective of providing much needed equity to SMEs at the start up or early growth stage of development. It aims to match, on a pari passu basis, investments made by private investors or business angels who may not have sufficient resources to wholly fund the business and where they wish to negate the risk.
