BBAA Angel Network Membership

The BBAA currently has a membership of 20 Angel Networks in England and Wales; we welcome further angel networks to join.

Membership Benefits

  • Representation at National and International Level.
The BBAA exists to represent the best interests of its membership. Through our high level connections with Government and Whitehall as well as other industry associations, we lobby government on behalf of our membership over key issues relevant to the early stage market. The BBAA is well positioned to ensure that the voice of early stage industry is heard and acted upon. Our discussions carry ever greater weight as our community continues to grow. BBAA is also a founding member of the European Business Angels Network (EBAN), and World Business Angels Association (WBAA), representing the interests of the UK angel community worldwide.

  • BBAA's Dynamic Member Directory: Increased Promotion and Deal Flow.
As a BBAA Angel Network Member, you would be given the opportunity to promote your business by creating a profile of your company which would appear on the fully public and searchable dedicated BBAA Member Directory for Early Stage VCs. With over 7,000 unique visitors per month, BBAA is a major source of referrals for companies seeking finance and investors seeking to invest.

  • Contribute to BBAA’s Newsletter
Members are invited to publicise deals done, events and contribute guest articles to BBAA’s respected and widely read industry newsletter, increasing industry recognition of your work. Any articles and upcoming events your organisation contributes will also be added to your directory listing, allowing site visitors to see at a glance your latest activity. The more you contribute, the more dynamic your network will appear.

  • Networking Opportunities and Events
The BBAA holds a number of events throughout the year, including the BBAA Winter Workshop, BBAA National Summit and Awards Dinner. Members benefit from significantly reduced rates to these events.

  • Committee Participation.
The BBAA’s structure allows members the opportunity to join one of BBAA’s committees (by invitation only). Your organisation's participation can actively influence BBAA’s development and strategy, and positively contribute to BBAA’s lobby to government.

  • Opportunity to join BBAA’s Board of Directors.
    By invitation only.
