BBAA National Awards Dinner

Seven Awards will be presented to reward success in investing in the early stage market place at the BBAA’s Annual Awards Dinner on 30 June 2011, being held at the Museum of London, one of the most exciting and uniquely interesting venues of the Capital. The 2011 black-tie Gala event is backed by the City of London Corporation. Dr Mike Lynch, Britain’s most successful software entrepreneur and founder of Autonomy, will be the guest speaker at BBAA’s Gala Awards event. BBAA National Investment Summit
1 July 2011, 09.30-16.30, Chartered Accountants Hall, London

The UK as a hub for new entrepreneurial investors in technology is the key theme for the BBAA’s BBAA National Investment Summit, taking place the following day, 1 July at the Chartered Accountants Hall; 1 Moorgate Place, London EC2, sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial. The 20 high level key speakers will include Alex Hoye, serial angel investor; Stefan Glaenzer, co-founder of White Bear Yard and the new Passion Capital fund, together with Mattias Ljungman, partner from Atomico Ventures, set up by the Skype founders. The new £2.5bn Business Growth Fund launched by the UK Banks will be presented, whilst Rory Earley from Capital for Enterprise Ltd will review latest development in the equity field, including the new £50m Angel Co-investment Fund.
