Catalysing Growth in Angel Investing

With several new initiatives and tax measures being launched this week, and with angel investing becoming increasingly significant in the growth agenda, this event will offer a unique opportunity to review the impact of these new developments as potential catalysers for growing angel and early stage investing in the UK.

This Networking Dinner event will be held on Wednesday 25 January 2012 at The Royal Society, the evening before the Workshop. It will be an exciting opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues from the early stage investment community, whilst enjoying dinner and drinks reception. We are also delighted to announce that Ian Livingstone, Life President of Eidos and one the UK’s founding fathers of interactive entertainment and the UK games industry - the man behind Dungeons and Dragons, Lara Croft & Tomb Raider,will be our After Dinner speaker on 25th January.

The Winter Investment Workshop will be held on 26January 2012 at NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts). The event will include the recent policy and finance initiatives, announced by the Chancellor in his Autumn Statement to support early stage investing as well as latest developments and trends in the investment market.
