BBAA’s flagship annual events, now in their 7th successful year, have become key milestones in the calendar of all those keen to find out core trends and developments in early stage investing, offering an important forum for knowledge development and interaction for the angel/VC marketplace.

BBAA National Investment Summit, 1 July 2011

The 2011 BBAA National Investment Summit on 1st July is this year kindly sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial, and will be held at the prestigious facilities of the Chartered Accountants Hall, 1 Moorgate Place, London EC2, hosted by the ICAEW London Region. This Summit is focused on investing in entrepreneurship and growth, following the Government’s latest budget tax incentives and the new Start-up Britain initiative. A wide range of expert speakers and panellists from both the UK and international sources will review the impact of such developments, including a comparison with the US and other international approaches.

BBAA National Awards Dinner, 30 June 2011

The BBAA National Awards Dinner on 30th June will be held on the evening before the National Summit. This event has become a focal point in the year for rewarding achievements across different aspects of the angel and early stage marketplace. BBAA is delighted to have the sponsorship of the City of London Corporation and is holding this event in the Museum of London at London Wall EC2,one of the most uniquely interesting venues of the Capital. The event, which will present 6 awards, will include a gourmet meal and Champagne reception, also exclusive access to the exhibits of the MoL Galleries.
